Title Sequence

using photoshop to edit the amount of layers in the composition means i will have to make sacrifices and some adjustments to the original idea. in order for the idea to work (due to the lack of my own technical knowledge at this point and the timing structure of the chosen music and time constrains the different aspects of the car will fade in groups of 2/3 shapes at a time due to the amount of shapes making the Grill of the car.

Title Sequence





After looking at the finalized Vector image i traced from my hand tracing i decided to simplify it further and re design the image as it needed a more enigmatic feel to it. the idea is for it to be recognizable without giving away the complete construction of the car.

this is one of the main reasons i decided to compile my image form a hand drawn trace rather than my vector trace, as i wanted a hand made and more personal image of the Gran Torino. I feel This is the most appropriate approach because the Gran Torino in the film is the unofficial catalyst for all the events that unfolded. the car in the film even though it is not seen for any long periods of time it still is the main building block for the plot and the development of the characters
